Penten Recognised for Making Waves

Penten has been named as a finalist in the 2018 Telstra Business Awards for the Medium & Making Waves category in Australian Capital Territory.

Cyber security company Penten has been named a finalist in the 2018 Telstra Business Awards for the ACT, in the Medium & Making Waves category, recognising its important work and continued rapid growth.

Started only three years ago with a team of 4, Penten has evolved from small start-up to medium scale-up with a team now of 45. Based in Canberra, Penten is building new cyber security technologies for Defence and Australian Government as well as exporting to the UK and Canada.

Penten CEO, Matthew Wilson said “It continues to be a break out year for the Penten team as we role out the technologies we have created to the Australian Government and export markets.”

Penten’s AltoCrypt family of secure mobility solutions are enabling mobile secure access to classified information for government, Penten’s deception.ai business unit employs machine learning to create realistic decoys to detect and track sophisticated cyber adversaries.
