Matthew Wilson wins EY Entrepreneur of the Year award

Matthew Wilson, CEO of Penten, was awarded EY Entrepreneur of the Year, in the Emerging Male category at an exclusive awards ceremony in Sydney on 13 August 2019.

EY Entrepreneur of The Year is a unique global program that recognises entrepreneurial achievement among individuals that demonstrate vision, leadership and success — and work to improve the quality of life in their communities, countries and around the world.

Matthew’s extraordinary vision has led Penten to double in staff and revenue every year since inception from 2014. Now, with over 70 staff and major Government clients in Australia and the UK, Penten is evolving at a rapid pace.

Matthew champions diversity, equality and inclusion at Penten. He has set a 50:50 gender target, equal pay for men and women and also believes wholeheartedly in Penten’s success belonging to the staff. Matthew has signed a Veteran Employment Commitment and leads the Penten team as group of interesting individuals working towards a common goal of protecting those who protect us.

Also, during this week, Penten was awarded the Most Innovative Company and Best Innovation Platform in the Government category at the Australian Financial Review and Boss awards.
